On World Mental Health Day, which falls on October 10th every year, Gaza Culture and Development Group organized an event under the title "Helping the Helpers" for social and psychological support specialists.
This activity is part of the activities of the Ettihad 2 project, which aims to support displaced people in the Gaza Strip, Ettihad 2 is implemented in partnership with the " Super-Novae" Association and funded by the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs.
The event aimed to alleviate the psychological pressures on psychologists who play a critical role in providing mental care for women in displacement camps in the Gaza Strip. So far, 4530 women have benefited from social and psychological support services, in addition to 79 women being referred to specialized institutions in the protection sector for the necessary additional support.
